She is a very experienced teacher in the fields of English as a Second Language, Spanish as a Second Language, and Spanish in Bolivian schools curriculum.Since Gilda taught English as a Second Language for some time before she started teaching Spanish as a Second Language, she finds the latter "like the inverse experience" of the former one, which makes it especially interesting to her. Also, she thinks that teaching online to individuals and small groups gives her an opportunity to understand better the students needs and make the class more personal, compared to the large groups she used to manage in the past.
